The music mainly set the mood for me. I kept expecting something to happen because of the eerie sound. The lesson is that if you keep wanting and wanting materialistic things instead of appreciating what you have for more than a few seconds, it will come back to haunt you. The girl kept drawing things that she wanted and only enjoyed them for ten seconds at the most before she decided she wanted something else.
Hmmmm….if i could have one of those pencils….first of all, I would carry it around places just to see people’s expressions when they looked at it. That would be amusing. I would probbably draw things that I needed and didn’t want to work for, like money and homework. However, I know I would use it for a new puppy and things like that as well. It is probably good that we don’t all have a huge pencil to carry around with us. If so, we would all be lazy and selfish.

I definitely agree with you about all of us not having one of those pencils. If we did we would all end up lazy, and probably a lot bigger than any of us want to be.

Ha I didn’t think about just carrying the pencil around to freak someone out. That’d be fun, but anyways just like you said if you just bounce off of one thing to another thing in like three seconds you don’t appreciate the fact that you have all of these great things and you just kind of don’t care either, because you think that you could always just draw something else whenever you like. One question I had throughout the movie would be would that pencil ever like run out of lead or something like that?
