A Summer of Reading

I usually enjoy reading. It seems like the only time I don’t is when I am forced to read a book I didn’t choose. This is why summer reading is always difficult for me. However, this year I have decided to stop procrastinating so much and just get it over with. I still have to do it whether I like it or not. I usually can only read at night, when everything is quiet and no one is awake, or when I’m alone. I am hoping to finish my summer reading before July, even though I am sure that won’t happen. It’s a good goal though. I think I will read McTeague first, because it is the longest. I’ll just work my way back from there.

I hope the summer reading isn’t as tedious as you might expect. I think you will find the assignments this year a little more individualized than the questions you have had in the past. I hope this makes your summer easier!

Finishing before July is a great goal. I hope you get it done so you can have a bit of a break before school starts back,

    Good luck!
