I usually enjoy reading. It seems like the only time I don’t is when I am forced to read a book I didn’t choose. This is why summer reading is always difficult for me. However, this year I have decided to stop procrastinating so much and just get it over with. I still have to do it whether I like it or not. I usually can only read at night, when everything is quiet and no one is awake, or when I’m alone. I am hoping to finish my summer reading before July, even though I am sure that won’t happen. It’s a good goal though. I think I will read McTeague first, because it is the longest. I’ll just work my way back from there.

Beginning Blogging
I am very interested in blogging. I have never done so before. I think it will be a great learning experience for me and I look forward to it. I think this is a unique approach to the summer reading program.
